Head Coach: Clarice Morris

6th, 7th, and 8th graders are eligible to tryout for cheerleading.

All athletes are required to be in school for a half day in order to be eligible.

Students must have passed 3 core subjects (English, Math, Science, Social Studies) during the previous semester to be eligible. Students on poor school standing are not eligible.

In addition, Coach Morris stipulates that cheerleaders must maintain a C or higher to participate.

Schedule:

Cheerleading open gyms will begin in September, with tryouts taking place in late October. More information will be announced at school.

Anyone trying out must have a VHSL Physical (dated after May 1, 2023) on file in the MMS Front Office
