Cheerleading

6th, 7th, and 8th graders are eligible to tryout for cheerleading.
All athletes are required to be in school for a half day in order to be eligible.
Students must have passed 3 core subjects (English, Math, Science, Social Studies) during the previous semester to be eligible. Students on poor school standing are not eligible.
Cheerleading open gyms will begin in October, with tryouts taking place in late October-early November. Please see linked calendar above for more information regarding dates of open gyms, tryouts, practices, and games.
Anyone trying out must have a VHSL Physical (dated after May 1, 2024) on file in the MMS Front Office. Spanish VHSL Physical Forms available here.
